1. Current RN license in the State of Texas.

2. Current BLS certificate and ACLS/PALS certificate if applicable.

3. Documented evidence of a minimum of 12 months experience in the area for which you are applying.

4. Proof of fulfillment of health screening criteria required by the State of Texas and Staff Quest, Inc.

5. Successful completion of screening evaluations required for clinical areas in which you will practice with a score of 80% or greater.

6. Successful completion of the independent studies covering current OSHA/JCAHO requirements with a score of 80% or greater.

7. Successful completion of medication examination with a score of 80% or greater.

2. Utilizes the nursing process in planning and performance of patient care.

3. Provides direct patient care demonstrating skills matching patient needs and outlined by the Nurse Practice Act.

4. Promotes optimal patient wellness by assisting the patient to adapt to their illness or wellness state.

5. Employs independent decision-making based on assessment of the patient’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and safety needs.

6. Plans/provides care based on daily assessment of the patient and physician’s orders.

7. Contributes to the development and revision of the patient care plan.

8. Report significant findings and changes in patient status to appropriate personnel and physician.

9. Administer and document medications and narcotics in a way consistent with the policies and procedures of each individual facility.

10. Maintains clinical records according to facility policies and regulations. Maintains competency and enhances professional growth and development through continuing education.

11. Maintains positive behaviors, approaches, attitude, and commitment to interpersonal service toward patients, visitors, and co-workers.

12. Adheres to Staff Quest, Inc. policies and procedures.
